Amies announced as FlexSea’s Strategic Injection Moulding Partner

In November FlexSea welcomed Simon and Stuart from Amies Technical Plastics to our Wolverhampton bioplastic facility. This visit signified a key moment in our close collaboration with Amies as they were officially recognised as FlexSea’s “Strategic Injection Moulding Partner”.
Amies are a specialist technical injection moulding company operating in Chesterfield. Fellow residents of the Midlands, with a long established reputation for the production of high quality, high performance injection moulded components, they were an obvious partner as we continue to refine our bioplastic formulations.
Over the last 18 months, the two companies have built a very strong relationship at all levels, with Amies supporting the optimisation and commercialisation of FlexSea’s bioplastic grades for injection moulding. With the goal of “Redefining Bioplastics” it is essential to us that our formulations address the issues the injection moulding industry have found with previous generations of bioplastics. Through close partnership with Amies we are continuing to benefit from 100 years of experience in injection moulding to do just that!
